For the tenth year in a row, the Edinburg North High School Visual Art Department has produced an exhibit at the McAllen Convention Center for the annual McAllen International CarFest event which attracts over 20,000 visitors. This year there were two divisions for our student-artists to compete in: Black & White and Color.
In the B/W division:
1st place - Jose Zarazua w/ a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
2nd place - Juan Hernandez w/ a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
3rd place - Camila Gutierrez w/ a 1971 Lincoln Continental
HM - Ashley Mejia w/ a 1966 Chevrolet Impala
In the COLOR division:
1st place - Kimberly Harlow w/ a 1959 Cadillac
2nd place - Cindy Fraire w/ a Ferrari Formula One Race car
3rd place - Naomi Saenz w/ a 1977 Ford F150
HM - Kate Castillo w/ a 1940 Ford hood ornament
