Thursday, January 16, the Student Council held its first meeting of the semester, full of enthusiasm and energy as they discussed upcoming events and initiatives. The members are eager to continue making a positive impact on their school and community.
One of the first events this semester is the Cereal Feeder Challenge, where students will donate cereal boxes to those in need. It's an opportunity for the school to give back, and the Student Council encourages everyone to get involved, not just members.
Another exciting initiative is the Campus Clean Up planned sometime this semester. This is a great way to ensure that our campus looks clean and presentable. We welcome any volunteers to come help, even if you are not in Student Council.
The Recycling Fridays program continues to be a great success, with members actively collecting recycling every week. They thank everyone who has contributed so far and encourage continued participation to help keep the school environmentally friendly.
Throughout the school year, Student Council has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize and participate in events such as Trunk or Treat, Football games, and Homecoming. These events are not only fun but also contribute to school spirit and community building. They could not have happened without the dedication and hard work of the officers, members, and the guidance of sponsors Mrs. Clarissa Sanchez and Mrs. Elizabeth Trevino.
The Student Council's commitment to organizing successful and meaningful events reflects their passion for supporting their peers and improving the school environment. Stay tuned for more exciting activities as the semester progresses!
