2025 Summer School Program

EDINBURG, TX — Edinburg North High School is gearing up for a dynamic and student-focused summer with the launch of its 2025 Summer School Program, offering a range of academic opportunities designed to help students recover credits, prepare for college, and meet graduation requirements.

The program, which officially begins registration on June 4, 2025, will run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with breakfast served from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch provided daily. All classes will be held at Edinburg North High School, 3101 N. Closner Blvd.

A Pathway to Progress

Students who need to recover credits will have access to Plato and Edgenuity, two digital learning platforms that allow for flexible, self-paced instruction. In addition, the school is offering STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) preparationAccelerated Geometry, and TSI Camps to help students meet college readiness benchmarks.

“Summer school is not just about catching up—it’s about moving forward,” said Jose L Chapa, Summer School Principal for Accelerated Programs. “We’re providing students with the tools and support they need to succeed in high school and beyond.”

  • TSI Testing Window: June 17–27
  • TSI Camp Sessions:
    • Session 1: June 4–6
    • Session 2: June 9–13
    • Session 3: June 16–20
    • Session 4: June 23–27
    • Session 5: June 30–July 3

Passing the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) exams is essential for college course enrollment and senior CCMR (College, Career, and Military Readiness) clearance. Students are encouraged to register for TSI Camps through their Algebra I teachers.

Transportation and Accessibility

Transportation will be available for students who need it. Families can request transportation by scanning the QR code provided in the brochure or contacting the school directly.

The summer program is led by Principal Fernando Delgado, with Lisa Murillo overseeing EOC and Credit Recovery programs. Together, the leadership team is committed to ensuring a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment for all students.
