Alejandro Ballesteros was awarded today with the 2021-2022 USBP RGV Youth of the Year Scholarship. Alejandro is the President of the National Honor Society, a member of the UIL science and spelling team, science bowl team, mock trial team, and the Science and Math Honor Society. He has volunteered countless hours in his community by leading a student organization to promote healthy living and volunteers at his local church. Alejandro will be attending Washington University in St. Louis for the fall 2022 Semester. He was also awarded the WashU Annika Rodriguez Scholarship which will cover his full tuition for four years. Alejandro plans to major in Chemistry and is interested in Neuroscience and Art History.
